COPILOT TRAINING
FOR AUSTRALIAN TEAMS.
Copilot licences only pay off when people change how they work. Frontrow runs hands-on Microsoft 365 Copilot training for staff, leaders and specific teams, built around your own documents and delivered on-site or live remote by senior consultants.
Training formats
A session for every role.
- Copilot workshop for all staffAny team that already has, or is about to get, Microsoft 365 Copilot licences and wants staff genuinely using it — not just paying for seats that sit idle.Usually 2–3 hours, hands-on, and repeatable, so the same session can run for several cohorts across a day or a fortnight. On-site at your premises or live remote.See the session →
- Copilot briefing for executives & boardsExecutive teams, boards and directors who need to make a call on Copilot — whether to license it further, how far to take it, and what to ask IT before they commit more spend.Usually 90 minutes to half a day, briefing-style with light hands-on time so the room sees it working rather than just hears about it. On-site at your premises or live remote.See the session →
- Copilot for finance & accountingFinance, accounting and payroll teams who spend their week in Excel, Outlook and Teams and want Copilot to take the grunt work out of a close, a variance report or a reconciliation — without it inventing numbers.Usually 2–3 hours, hands-on, repeatable across cohorts (payroll, AP/AR, management accounting can run separately if useful). On-site at your premises or live remote.See the session →
- Copilot for HR & people teamsHR, people and payroll teams who want Copilot to help with job ads, policy drafts and case notes — without it anywhere near a medical certificate, a WHS incident report or a confidential grievance file.Usually 2–3 hours, hands-on, repeatable across cohorts. On-site at your premises or live remote.See the session →
- Copilot for sales & business developmentSales and business development teams who want Copilot to take the admin out of prospecting, meeting prep and proposal drafting, so more of the week goes to actual selling.Usually 2–3 hours, hands-on, repeatable across cohorts. On-site at your premises or live remote.See the session →
- Copilot for EAs & office managersExecutive assistants and office managers who run someone else's inbox, calendar and meetings, and want Copilot to take the repetitive parts of that off their plate.Usually 2–3 hours, hands-on, repeatable across cohorts. On-site at your premises or live remote.See the session →
- Copilot champions / train-the-trainerOrganisations rolling Copilot out past the pilot stage, who want a small group of enthusiastic, credible staff able to answer day-to-day questions and keep momentum going after the initial training is done.Usually a half-day kickoff session for 8–15 nominated champions, plus a shorter follow-up session 3–4 weeks later. On-site at your premises or live remote.See the session →
- Build-your-first-agent workshopBusiness owners, operations leads or a nominated 'agent owner' who has a specific, repeatable workflow in mind — not a general Copilot rollout — and wants to see a working agent built, not just talked about.Usually a full day, hands-on, capped to a small group so everyone leaves with a working agent rather than just a demo. On-site at your premises or live remote.See the session →
- Copilot admin & governance training for ITIT administrators and the people accountable for the tenant once Copilot licences are switched on — the ones who own the response when something in Copilot surfaces a file it shouldn't.Usually half a day, hands-on in your own tenant's admin centres or a test tenant. On-site at your premises or live remote.See the session →
How it works
From headcount to habit.
Step 1
Tell us who needs it
Headcount, roles, locations and whether people already have a Copilot licence. That decides the mix of sessions and how many cohorts.
Step 2
We build it around your work
Exercises use the documents, meetings and spreadsheets your people actually handle, not a generic demo. Sensitive material stays in your own tenant.
Step 3
Hands-on sessions
Everyone works in their own Microsoft 365 account on their own laptop. Sessions run on-site at your premises or live remote.
Step 4
Keep the habit going
A short prompt pack per role and, for larger groups, a champions program so the people who get it early can help everyone else.
Where we train
On-site in our office cities, remote everywhere.
FAQ — Copilot training
What people ask before booking.
- Do staff need a paid Copilot licence to attend?
- No. Copilot Chat is available with a work account, and inside Outlook it can now work across a user's own mail, calendar and meetings without a paid seat. The paid Microsoft 365 Copilot seat adds Copilot inside Word, Excel and PowerPoint and grounding across SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams. We tailor each session to the licences your people actually have, and tell you honestly where the paid seat would change the outcome.
- Can you run the same session several times for different groups?
- Yes, and that's the most common request. Tell us your headcount and we'll suggest cohorts small enough to stay hands-on, run back-to-back or across a couple of weeks.
- Where do you run on-site sessions?
- Frontrow has offices in Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville and Adelaide and runs on-site sessions at client premises in those cities. Elsewhere in Australia we can travel in by arrangement, or run the session live remote.
- Is this just a product demo?
- No. Every session is hands-on, built around your roles and documents, and includes what Copilot should not be used for: sensitive data, checking outputs and your organisation's AI policy.
- We haven't bought Copilot yet. Should we train first?
- Often, yes. A short executive briefing plus a pilot group session is a cheap way to find out where Copilot pays before you buy seats for everyone. Organisations under 300 staff can pair that with Microsoft's free 25-seat Copilot in 30 trial.
