Microsoft's Australian pricing pages quote every figure ex GST and say so in the fine print: prices shown do not include GST, and the payment page shows the GST-inclusive amount before purchase. This list follows the same convention, with a toggle that adds 10% to every AUD column so a business can read the number that will actually leave the bank account. Businesses registered for GST claim it back as an input tax credit, so the ex-GST figure is the true cost comparison; the inc-GST figure matters for cash flow and for anyone not registered. The export carries whichever treatment is selected and labels every row with it, so a spreadsheet handed to finance never leaves the question open.

Two different things, and the labels matter. On Microsoft 365 Business plans and the Copilot Business add-on, Microsoft's Australian pages publish a second price 'with a monthly subscription', 20% above the paid-yearly figure: Business Premium is AU$32.90 paid yearly or AU$39.48 month to month. That is the price of being able to cancel or reduce seats each month. Separately, an annual commitment can be paid monthly rather than up front, and Microsoft shows that as a 5% uplift on Microsoft 365 Copilot (AU$47.15 paid monthly against AU$44.90 paid yearly). Enterprise suites such as E3 and E5 show no monthly-subscription price on the Australian pages, so the list leaves that column empty for them and flags the annual figure when the monthly toggle is on. It never invents a monthly number from the 20% rule.

Since the July 2026 catalogue, Microsoft's Australian business pricing page leads with two bundle SKUs, Business Standard with Copilot at AU$35.20 and Business Premium with Copilot at AU$47.90, alongside Business Basic at AU$10.50. The plain Standard (AU$21.00) and Premium (AU$32.90) suites still exist and are priced on their own product pages, which this list cites. The bundles are priced well below suite plus add-on: Business Premium at AU$32.90 plus Copilot Business at the AU$26.91 promotional rate is AU$59.81, against AU$47.90 for the bundle, and the bundle price is not a first-year promotion. For a business that wants Copilot on every seat the bundle is the cheaper path; for a business that wants Copilot on a minority of seats, the plain suite plus add-on for those users is usually still cheaper overall. Microsoft 365 E7 is listed at AU$148.20 per user per month ex GST on an annual commitment, with a no-Teams variant at AU$135.40. Microsoft describes it as E5 plus Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Entra Suite and Agent 365, and its documentation calls it the Frontier Suite. Priced as separate parts at Australian list, E5 (AU$89.80) plus Copilot (AU$44.90) plus Entra Suite (AU$18.00) plus Agent 365 (AU$22.40) is AU$175.10, so the bundle sits about AU$27 a seat below the sum. That comparison only matters if the organisation genuinely wants all four components; an E5 tenant that wants Copilot and nothing else pays AU$134.70 for the pair and E7 loses. Frontrow's August 2026 check of Partner Center also recorded CSP launch promotions on E7 running to 31 December 2026, which a CSP quote will confirm.

Because Microsoft publishes no Australian list price for them, and this tool never converts a US figure or copies a number from a previous month. In September 2026 that applies to Intune Suite (Microsoft's Australian Intune page names it only as USD$10 in a FAQ), Defender for Endpoint sold on its own (the Australian Defender pages now price the AU$18.00 Defender Suite instead), Security Copilot (consumption-priced through Security Compute Units), Microsoft 365 Backup (US$0.15 per GB per month, billed through Azure), SharePoint Advanced Management Plan 1 and Windows 10 Extended Security Updates (US$61 per device for year one, doubling each year). Every one of those rows carries the US figure where Microsoft states one and a note on how the product is bought. The list price is the same either way; the difference is what comes with it. Buying direct from microsoft.com means paying list, supporting the tenant yourself and dealing with Microsoft's support queue. Buying through a Cloud Solution Provider means the same licences on a Microsoft Customer Agreement, invoiced in AUD by the partner, with the partner handling provisioning, licence changes, renewals and first-line support, and with access to CSP-only promotions such as the current 30% off a one-year Microsoft 365 Copilot term at 1,000 to 9,999 seats (to 30 September 2026) and the AU$26.91 first-year Copilot Business rate (orders to 31 December 2026). Partners can also price below list on larger commitments. The practical test: if nobody in the business is paid to manage the tenant, the CSP route usually costs less once the support hours are counted.
