Managed IT for Echuca and Moama.
Built for a town that works across a state line.

Frontrow runs managed IT, IT support, Microsoft 365 and cyber security for Echuca, Moama and the Campaspe Shire — the operators behind the paddle steamers and the Southern 80, the dairy, grain and livestock chain around Kyabram and Rochester, the health and care providers across the shire, and the businesses that trade on both banks of the Murray. Serviced remotely by senior, certified people, with on-site visits scheduled when the work needs them.

Why local knowledge matters

The difference regional understanding makes.

Echuca-Moama runs on a river that is both the main attraction and the main risk, a visitor season that doubles the town, and a state border down the middle of it. The provider that plans for those realities answers a different way to the one selling a capital-city template.

A city MSP emails you a plan that assumes one state, one site, a river that stays in its banks and a season that never peaks.

Frontrow runs IT for Echuca-Moama businesses with senior engineers, one tenant across both banks, continuity designed around a documented flood history, and a planned on-site schedule backed from Adelaide.

A provider that plans for a border town on a flood plain, not one surprised by it.

Honest about the address

No Echuca shopfront. Senior delivery either way.

Frontrow's offices are in Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville and Adelaide — not Echuca. Rather than pretend otherwise, Frontrow services Echuca, Moama and the Campaspe Shire remotely from the Adelaide team, and schedules on-site visits when a job genuinely needs hands on the ground.

Frontrow has been a Microsoft Partner since 2018, with Modern Work and AI specialisation and a 5× Microsoft MVP on the team. For monitoring, Microsoft 365, Essential Eight and Copilot work, that depth reaches a Murray River business the same way it reaches an Adelaide one — the senior architect on the call, wherever the desk happens to be.

  • Tourism on the Murray

Tourism is Echuca's main industry. The Port of Echuca is home to the largest paddle steamer fleet in the world, including PS Adelaide, built in 1866 and the world's oldest operating wooden-hulled paddle steamer, working from a 332-metre redgum wharf that is National Heritage listed. The Southern 80 in February is the largest waterski race in the world, and Moama adds a 36-hole golf club, a large bowling club, hotels, caravan parks and houseboats. Frontrow supports the accommodation, hospitality, club and attraction operators behind that trade: bookings, point-of-sale and rosters that have to work every morning, and a workforce that swells for events and holidays.

  • Dairy, grain and livestock

Dairy, wheat, sheep, pig and cattle farms sit close around Echuca, and Campaspe Shire takes in the farming towns of Kyabram, Rochester, Tongala, Rushworth and Girgarre across 4,519 km². Frontrow supports the farms, processors, transporters, agents and suppliers in that chain: job and fleet systems that work from a cab, production-adjacent IT patched without interrupting a run, and the supplier security posture major customers now expect.

  • Business across a state line

Echuca is in Victoria and Moama, 3 km away across the Murray in New South Wales, is in the Murray River Council area — and the New South Wales border takes in the river up to the top of the bank on the Victorian side. The two towns are joined by the 1878 iron bridge and the Dhungala Bridge completed in July 2022, and at the 2021 census had a combined population of 22,568. A business with a shopfront in Echuca and a club or depot in Moama answers to two state governments and two sets of regulators. Frontrow runs one identity, one security posture and one support number across both banks.

  • Health, education and the shire

Echuca is the administrative centre and largest town in Campaspe Shire, which counted 38,735 people at the 2021 census and runs service centres at Kyabram, Rochester, Rushworth and Tongala. The ABS counted 4,374 businesses in the Campaspe LGA at June 2025. Around the shire's health, aged-care and school networks — including secondary colleges on both sides of the river — sit the accountants, lawyers, trades and retailers that keep a regional centre running. Frontrow supports them the same way it supports a Brisbane or Adelaide practice: senior people, one number to call.

Designed for Echuca-Moama

Built for the old inland port.

A national MSP can sell a generic plan and a local one can sell a local address. Frontrow brings senior Microsoft and cyber depth to a town that was Australia's largest inland port in the 1870s and now carries a visitor economy, a farming shire and a state border — and whose agribusinesses, health and aged-care providers and councils each carry compliance obligations a generic plan ignores. Frontrow services the wider Murray and Goulburn region the same way — including Shepparton, 76 km to the south-east.

  • Senior people, serviced remotely

Frontrow has no Echuca office. Day-to-day support, monitoring and the Microsoft depth run remotely from the Adelaide team, with on-site visits scheduled when hands-on work genuinely needs them. The engagement model is the senior architect on the call — not a junior at a local desk.

  • Flood is the documented risk

Echuca sits at the junction of the Murray and Campaspe rivers on the Northern Plains and is flood prone. In January 2011 the Campaspe inundated about 80 per cent of Rochester, downstream of Lake Eppalock and upstream of Echuca. Frontrow designs cloud-first with off-site backups and 4G/5G failover, so a business can keep trading from wherever its people have moved to while the water is up.

  • Built for event and holiday peaks

Moama's population swells significantly during holiday periods and the Southern 80, which draws more than 80,000 visitors over two days. Frontrow manages identity so onboarding is fast, offboarding actually happens, and departed seasonal staff don't keep a live login to the booking system or the payroll file.

  • Two states, one provider

A business spanning Echuca and Moama deals with two state governments, two emergency-services structures and two regulatory regimes. Frontrow can't change that, but it can make sure the IT underneath is one system: one tenant, one security posture, one set of devices managed the same way on either side of the bridge.

Business continuity

The Campaspe has taken a town before. Design for it.

Echuca lies at the junction of the Murray and Campaspe rivers on the Northern Plains, and it is flood prone. In January 2011, after a week of heavy rain into the Campaspe catchment at Lake Eppalock, the river inundated about 80 per cent of Rochester, the greatest flood in that town's history, and residents were evacuated.

Frontrow won't pretend to forecast the river. What it can do is make sure a flood is an inconvenience to the business rather than the end of it: the systems people need to keep trading should already be somewhere the water can't reach, and the plan for who does what should be written before the warning, not during it.

  • Cloud-first, site-optional

If the office is behind sandbags, work shouldn't stop with it. Frontrow puts identity, files and phones in Microsoft 365 — not on a server at ground level — so staff keep working from wherever they've moved to.

  • Backups above the flood line

Off-site, geographically separate backups with tested restores and documented RTO/RPO. A backup drive on the floor beside the server is not a continuity plan on a flood plain.

  • Power & connectivity failover

UPS on the comms rack, 4G/5G failover on the router, and a written plan for who calls whom and what comes back first — designed so a motel, a club or a packing shed rides out an outage instead of going dark with it.

Plan it with real numbers

Free tools before you talk to anyone.

Frontrow publishes the tools it uses in scoping conversations, free and without a sign-up wall — so an Echuca business can put numbers around cost, security posture and end-of-support exposure before the first call.

  • Connectivity scoped honestly

Frontrow quotes from what each address can actually get — fixed-line where it exists, business-grade wireless or 4G/5G failover where it doesn't — and builds offline tolerance in from the start rather than promising fibre the street can't order.

  • Built for split sites

A shopfront in Echuca, a club in Moama, a farm office out at Kyabram and an accountant in Bendigo — they don't all get the same link. Frontrow designs SharePoint, Teams and Intune for offline-then-sync usage and mixed connectivity, so the slowest site in the fleet isn't the one that breaks the model.

Co-managed option

Got an internal IT lead? Frontrow slots in around them.

Plenty of Echuca-Moama operations already have someone who keeps the lights on. Frontrow co-manages — taking the out-of-hours, the Microsoft depth, the security and the specialist project work — and hands back the day-to-day that team wants to keep. Fully managed if there's no internal IT at all.

  • Predictable monthly cost

Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed SLA. Project work is scoped separately, never slipped in through support.

  • Board-grade reporting

Monthly reports an executive team can read — Essential Eight posture, ticket trends, risk — not a ticket dump.

FAQ — Echuca, Moama & the Campaspe Shire

What Murray River businesses ask Frontrow.

Do you have an office in Echuca?
No — Frontrow's offices are in Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville and Adelaide. Frontrow services Echuca, Moama and the Campaspe Shire remotely from the Adelaide team, with the same senior, certified people who run IT for clients across QLD, NSW and SA, and schedules on-site visits when work genuinely needs hands on the ground. The honest version: most managed IT is delivered remotely regardless of address, and Frontrow won't claim a local shopfront it doesn't have.
If you're not local, why use Frontrow over an Echuca IT provider?
Depth. Frontrow has been a Microsoft Partner since 2018 with Modern Work and AI specialisation and a 5× Microsoft MVP on the team — senior capability a single-office regional provider often can't keep on staff. For monitoring, Microsoft 365, Essential Eight and Copilot work, the senior person is on the call no matter where the desk is.
What kind of Echuca and Moama businesses do you run IT for?
Accommodation, hospitality, club and attraction operators behind the Murray's visitor economy, farms, processors and suppliers in the dairy, grain and livestock chain, health and aged-care providers across the shire, and the professional-services and trade firms that support them from Echuca, Moama, Kyabram and Rochester. Anywhere senior, security-led managed IT matters more than a local address.
Can you support a business with sites in both Echuca and Moama?
Yes — that's the shape of most operations here, and it's the point. The two towns are 3 km apart but in different states, so a business ends up with two sets of regulators and two emergency-services structures. The IT doesn't need to be split the same way. Frontrow runs one Microsoft 365 tenant, one security posture and one support number across both banks, with devices managed identically on either side of the bridge.
How do you plan around flooding?
As a documented local reality. Echuca sits at the junction of the Murray and Campaspe rivers and is flood prone, and in January 2011 the Campaspe inundated about 80 per cent of Rochester, a few towns upstream. Frontrow designs cloud-first — identity, files and phones in Microsoft 365 rather than a server at ground level — with off-site backups, tested restores, 4G/5G failover and a written plan for who calls whom and what comes back first, so a business keeps trading from wherever its people have relocated.
Can you support a tourism or hospitality business that peaks with events and holidays?
Yes — that's the shape of a river town. Licensing, identity and devices are managed so the fleet grows for the Southern 80 and the summer and shrinks after them without paying year-round for peak headcount, and offboarding is enforced so seasonal staff don't retain access after they've moved on.
Some of our machines are still on Windows 10 — is that a problem?
It's a countdown. Windows 10 reached end of support in October 2025, and Extended Security Updates only buy time — at a rising price. Frontrow's free Microsoft end-of-support exposure check shows which devices and servers in a fleet are running out of road, and managed clients get a planned, budgeted upgrade path instead of a surprise.
Is this fully managed, or can you co-manage with our internal IT person?
Either. Frontrow runs IT fully managed for businesses without an internal team, and co-manages for those with an IT lead — taking the out-of-hours, the Microsoft depth and the specialist work, and handing back the day-to-day they want to keep.
