Managed IT for Redcliffe and North Lakes.
Built for the peninsula and the corridor behind it.

Frontrow runs managed IT, Microsoft 365 and cyber security for the Redcliffe peninsula and the North Lakes corridor: the medical and community organisations around Redcliffe Hospital, the retailers and trades of Kippa-Ring and Clontarf, the professional firms and head offices that have grown up around the North Lakes town centre, and the marine and tourism operators on the bay. Supported from Frontrow's Brisbane office across Bramble Bay, with on-site visits when the work calls for them.

Why local knowledge matters

The difference regional understanding makes.

The peninsula is a low, flat place reached by two bridges, with a hospital at its heart and a seaside economy that peaks every summer. Ten minutes inland, North Lakes is a planned town centre that barely existed in 2000. The provider that designs for both answers a different way to the one selling a CBD template.

A city MSP emails you a plan that assumes the bridge is always open, the storm never hits and every site has the same link.

Frontrow runs IT for peninsula and North Lakes businesses with senior engineers, continuity designed for a bay-side geography, and on-site work backed from a real Brisbane office 28 km away.

A provider that understands a peninsula and a growth corridor and plans for both, not one surprised by either.

Honest about the address

No peninsula shopfront. Senior delivery either way.

Frontrow's offices are in Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville and Adelaide, not Redcliffe or North Lakes. Rather than pretend otherwise, Frontrow supports the peninsula and the North Lakes corridor from its Brisbane office at Level 1, 355 Queen Street, and schedules on-site visits when a job genuinely needs hands on the ground. At 28 km, that is a drive across the bay, not a flight.

Frontrow has been a Microsoft Partner since 2018, with Modern Work and AI specialisation and a 5× Microsoft MVP on the team. For monitoring, Microsoft 365, Essential Eight and Copilot work, that depth reaches a Scarborough practice or a North Lakes head office the same way it reaches a Queen Street one: the senior architect on the call, wherever the desk happens to be.

  • Health and community services on the peninsula

The 250-bed Redcliffe Hospital is one of the peninsula's major employers, Peninsula Private Hospital sits in Kippa-Ring, and medical and community services rank among the peninsula's biggest sectors. Around them are the GP clinics, specialists, allied-health practices and aged-care providers that serve a population of more than 55,000 on the peninsula alone. Frontrow runs Microsoft 365, backups and Essential Eight aligned controls so a practice can evidence how it protects patient data rather than take it on trust.

  • Retail, trades and light industry

Retail trade and construction trades are the peninsula's largest economic sectors. Kippa-Ring is its commercial, retail and financial centre, and the west of Clontarf holds the peninsula's largest industrial area, with a second cluster at Kippa-Ring. Frontrow supports the trades, workshops, wholesalers and retailers in those precincts with the job-management, point-of-sale, email and file systems they run on, and the security posture their suppliers and insurers now ask about.

  • North Lakes and the Mango Hill business park

North Lakes was master-planned from 1999 on a former pine plantation, with a town centre and business park built into the plan from the start. Westfield North Lakes opened in August 2003, IKEA followed in 2016, and the suburb counted 23,030 residents at the 2021 census while neighbouring Mango Hill grew from 8,434 to 14,921 in five years. The professional-services firms, franchises and head offices that have followed need IT that scales with that growth. Frontrow designs for it.

  • Marine, tourism and the bay

Redcliffe has been a seaside resort since the 1880s and draws around 1.2 million visitors a year. Scarborough Marina at the northern tip of the peninsula, Newport Waterways Marina nearby, the Moreton Island passenger ferry and the fishing and prawning fleet all run businesses with seasonal peaks, bookings, payments and crews. Frontrow keeps those systems working through the Christmas rush, and keeps departed seasonal staff out of them afterwards.

Designed for the peninsula and North Lakes

Built for Queensland's first settlement and its newest town centre.

A national MSP can sell a generic plan and a local one can sell a local address. Frontrow brings senior Microsoft and cyber depth to a peninsula that was the site of Queensland's first European settlement in 1824, and to a corridor where North Lakes and Mango Hill have added tens of thousands of residents since the suburb was gazetted in 2006. Frontrow services the rest of the council area the same way, along with Brisbane across the bay.

  • Backed from the Brisbane office

Frontrow has no Redcliffe or North Lakes shopfront. The peninsula and the North Lakes corridor are supported from the Brisbane office at Level 1, 355 Queen Street, about 28 km from Redcliffe, with on-site visits scheduled when hands-on work genuinely needs them. Day-to-day support and monitoring run remotely, and the senior architect on the call is the same one a CBD client gets.

  • A peninsula reached by bridges

The peninsula is flat, with few areas rising more than 20 metres above sea level, and its road links to Brisbane run across Bramble Bay on the Houghton Highway and the 2.7 km Ted Smout Memorial Bridge, which opened in 2010. Summer thunderstorms are a regular feature. Frontrow designs continuity for a place where the road out can be slow or closed: cloud-first systems, off-site backups and a written plan for the days power or connectivity drops.

  • Built for the Kippa-Ring line commute

The Kippa-Ring rail line opened in October 2016 after being proposed for more than a century, with stations at Rothwell, Kippa-Ring and Mango Hill and a trip to Central of about 56 minutes. Plenty of peninsula and North Lakes staff split the week between a local office and a city client. Frontrow builds identity, Conditional Access and Intune so a laptop works the same on the train, at home in Margate and at a desk in Brisbane.

  • Standards that hold across the City of Moreton Bay

Redcliffe was its own city until the 2008 amalgamation created the Moreton Bay Region, renamed the City of Moreton Bay in July 2023. ABS counted about 33,600 businesses across that council area at June 2025, and many run a peninsula site alongside one at North Lakes, Caboolture or Brisbane. Frontrow services all of it from one team, so a split operation gets one security posture and one number to call.

Business continuity

Low, flat and reached by bridges. Design for it.

The Redcliffe peninsula rises little more than 20 metres above sea level at its highest, and the direct road links to Brisbane run across Bramble Bay on the Houghton Highway and the Ted Smout Memorial Bridge. Summer thunderstorms are a regular event from late spring to early autumn.

For a medical practice, a retailer or a North Lakes head office, the exposure isn't only the weather. It is what hours without power, a link or site access do to appointments, payments and payroll. Continuity should be designed before the first storm of the season, not after it, and Frontrow builds it into the managed service rather than selling it as an add-on.

  • Cloud-first, site-optional

If the office is unreachable, work shouldn't stop with it. Frontrow puts identity, files and phones in Microsoft 365, not on a server in a back room, so staff keep working from wherever they are when the bridge traffic stops.

  • Backups outside the building

Off-site, geographically separate backups with tested restores and documented RTO/RPO. A backup drive in the same building as the server is not a continuity plan on a low-lying peninsula.

  • Power & connectivity failover

UPS on the comms rack, 4G/5G failover on the router, and a written plan for who calls whom and what comes back first, designed so a clinic, a marina office or a showroom rides out an outage instead of going dark with it.

Already working nearby

The same team, the same standards, across the region.

Peninsula and North Lakes businesses rarely stop at the suburb boundary. Frontrow runs managed IT for the places those businesses trade with, from the same Brisbane team and to the same standard.

  • Connectivity scoped honestly

Frontrow quotes from what each address can actually get, from fibre in a North Lakes business park to business-grade wireless or 4G/5G failover at a marina office, and builds offline tolerance in from the start rather than promising a link the street can't order.

  • Built for split sites

A practice in Scarborough, a second room at North Lakes, a workshop in Clontarf and an accountant in Brisbane do not all get the same link. Frontrow designs SharePoint, Teams and Intune for offline-then-sync usage and mixed connectivity, so the slowest site in the fleet isn't the one that breaks the model.

Co-managed option

Got an internal IT lead? Frontrow slots in around them.

Plenty of peninsula and North Lakes operations already have someone who keeps the lights on. Frontrow co-manages, taking the out-of-hours, the Microsoft depth, the security and the specialist project work, and hands back the day-to-day that team wants to keep. Fully managed if there's no internal IT at all.

  • Predictable monthly cost

Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed SLA. Project work is scoped separately, never slipped in through support.

  • Board-grade reporting

Monthly reports an executive team can read: Essential Eight posture, ticket trends, risk. Not a ticket dump.

FAQ — Redcliffe & North Lakes

What peninsula and North Lakes businesses ask Frontrow.

Do you have an office in Redcliffe or North Lakes?
No. Frontrow's offices are in Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville and Adelaide. The Redcliffe peninsula and North Lakes are supported from the Brisbane office at Level 1, 355 Queen Street, about 28 km from Redcliffe, with on-site visits scheduled when work genuinely needs hands on the ground. The honest version: most managed IT is delivered remotely regardless of address, and Frontrow won't claim a local shopfront it doesn't have.
If you're not local, why use Frontrow over a peninsula IT provider?
Depth. Frontrow has been a Microsoft Partner since 2018 with Modern Work and AI specialisation and a 5× Microsoft MVP on the team, which is senior capability a single-office provider often can't keep on staff. For monitoring, Microsoft 365, Essential Eight and Copilot work, the senior person is on the call no matter where the desk is. And Brisbane is across the bridge, so on-site work is a drive, not a flight.
What kind of Redcliffe and North Lakes businesses do you run IT for?
Medical, allied-health and community organisations around Redcliffe Hospital and Peninsula Private, the retailers and trades of Kippa-Ring and Clontarf, the professional-services firms and head offices that have grown up around the North Lakes town centre and business park, and the marine, hospitality and tourism operators on the bay. Anywhere senior, security-led managed IT matters more than a local address.
How do you plan around storms and a peninsula that depends on bridges?
As a documented local reality. The peninsula is low and flat, summer thunderstorms are regular, and the road links to Brisbane run across Bramble Bay on the Houghton Highway and the Ted Smout Memorial Bridge. Frontrow designs cloud-first, with identity, files and phones in Microsoft 365 rather than on a server in a back room, off-site backups with tested restores, and a written continuity plan that names who calls whom and what comes back first.
We have a practice on the peninsula and a second site at North Lakes. Can you run both?
Yes. That split is common, and Frontrow services the whole City of Moreton Bay from the same team. SharePoint, Teams and Intune are designed so the standards are identical at every site, patient or client records are handled the same way at both, and the slowest link in the fleet doesn't break the model for the rest.
Can you handle the compliance side for a medical or allied-health practice?
Frontrow runs the technical controls and the evidence behind them: Essential Eight aligned patching, MFA, application control, admin privilege, backups and macro settings, all on the Microsoft 365 stack a practice already pays for, reported monthly in a form a practice manager, an accreditor or a board will accept. Frontrow doesn't give legal advice on privacy obligations, but it makes the controls behind them real.
Some of our machines are still on Windows 10. Is that a problem?
It's a countdown. Windows 10 reached end of support in October 2025, and Extended Security Updates only buy time at a rising price. Managed clients get a planned, budgeted upgrade path for the devices and servers running out of road, instead of a surprise.
Is this fully managed, or can you co-manage with our internal IT person?
Either. Frontrow runs IT fully managed for businesses without an internal team, and co-manages for those with an IT lead, taking the out-of-hours, the Microsoft depth and the specialist work, and handing back the day-to-day they want to keep.
