On 25 May 2021 an explosion at Callide C, near Biloela, left almost half a million Queensland customers without power — the state's worst outage in decades. In November 2022 all four Callide units were offline at once after a structural failure at the cooling plant. The C4 unit didn't begin returning to service until 30 August 2024, and a 2024 independent review found the operator had failed to implement effective process safety practices.

For a power-and-agriculture town, the exposure isn't only the grid — it's what an unreachable site, a cut link or a storm-season interruption does to payroll, dispatch and a contractor's obligations to a principal. Continuity should be designed before the next interruption, not after it.

  • Cloud-first, site-optional

    If the office is unreachable, work shouldn't stop with it. Frontrow puts identity, files and phones in Microsoft 365 — not on a server in a dark office — so staff keep working from wherever they are.
