Which agents would augment your team first?
Pick your industry, team size, and the top three back-office queues currently clogging your team. Frontrow returns the agent recommendations that fit, with what each one would augment.
What an agentic workforce is
Augment the team. Do not stand in for it.
An agentic workforce is a set of well-scoped AI agents, each with a defined job, deployed inside an organisation's Microsoft 365 tenant. Each agent absorbs a recurring, low-judgement work stream that is currently clogging the team's inbox: the policy queue, vendor questionnaires, compliance change tracking, document reviews against an internal standard, IT triage.
The team continues to do the work it was hired for. The agents absorb the work that has nowhere else to go. The combined capacity is what Frontrow calls an agentic workforce, and it augments rather than stands in for the team.
Frontrow scopes agents tightly because the failure modes of poorly scoped agents are well understood: confident wrong answers, hallucinated citations, drift over time. A useful agent knows where it ends and refuses anything outside its scope. That is the rule that makes the pattern work.

Frequently asked questions
Questions Australian boards and IT teams ask.
What is an agentic workforce?
A set of well-scoped AI agents, each with a defined job, deployed inside an organisation's Microsoft 365 tenant, that absorb the recurring, low-judgement work currently clogging team inboxes. Each agent has a defined input, a defined source of ground truth, a defined output, and a defined escalation path to a human. The agentic workforce augments the existing team rather than standing in for it.
Which Microsoft technologies does Frontrow use to build agents?
Microsoft Copilot Studio for the bulk of business agents that staff interact with in Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. Azure AI Foundry Agent Service for sophisticated agents that need multi-agent orchestration, custom function calling, code interpreter, or persistent memory. The two compose: a Copilot Studio agent in Teams can call a Foundry agent as a tool. Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and other models are available with Australian data residency in Australia East and Australia Central.
How many agents does a typical Australian mid-market deployment have?
Three to six in the first quarter, growing to a portfolio of five to eight as the team gets comfortable. Frontrow's recommendation is to scope one agent first, run it for six weeks, then add the next based on what was learned. The agentic workforce earns its place agent by agent, not as a big-bang deployment.
What does it cost to deploy an agentic workforce with Frontrow?
Indicative pricing on request. The cost components are: design and build per agent, ongoing iteration and governance retainer, and Microsoft licensing (Microsoft 365 Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot, paid by the customer to Microsoft directly). The displaced cost is the team time currently absorbed by recurring back-office work, which Frontrow scopes against in the design engagement.
Does an agentic workforce stand in for staff?
No. An agentic workforce augments the existing team by absorbing recurring, low-judgement work. The work that requires judgement, relationship, escalation, and decision stays with the team. Frontrow scopes agents tightly because the failure modes of poorly scoped agents (confident wrong answers, hallucinated citations, drift over time) are exactly the failure modes that destroy trust.
Is the agent's data resident in Australia?
Yes when built on Microsoft. Microsoft 365 customer data has been resident in Australia for years. Azure OpenAI in Australia East provides the same residency for the agent's model calls. Azure AI Search in Australia East stores the vector index. Microsoft Purview audit logs land in the customer's tenant. Frontrow's deployment patterns assume Australian data residency end to end.
How are the agents governed?
Each agent has a named human owner inside the organisation, a defined review cadence, sensitivity-labelled grounding data, identity and permission inheritance from Microsoft Entra ID, and audit logging in Microsoft Purview. Frontrow's standard governance pack documents each of these for every agent in the workforce.
Which agent should be built first?
The one that absorbs the largest current queue of recurring questions or work. The Use Case Finder above produces a short list. Frontrow's pattern across Australian mid-market clients: professional services start with the policy or HR queue, financial services with vendor risk or compliance tracking, operations-heavy businesses with IT triage. The first agent is the one that earns the team's trust fastest.
